노래 제목은 'Blue Is the Colour'. 홈구장인 스탬퍼드 브리지에서 가장 먼저 나오는 응원가이다. 1972년 리그컵 결승 진출을 기념하기 위해 당시 선수였던 피터 오스굿, 론 해리스, 피터 보네티, 찰리 쿠크, 토미 볼드윈, 피터 하우스먼, 알란 허드슨, 스티브 켐버, 존 뎀프시, 에디 맥크레디, 패디 멀리건, 마빈 히튼, 존 홀린스, 데이비드 웹 등이 이 노래를 녹음했다. 한 때 UK 차트 5위까지 올라가면서 가장 성공한 축구 팀 응원가가 되었다. 1972년 스토크 시티와의 리그컵 결승전에서 첼시 팬들이 처음으로 이 노래를 불렀지만, 경기는 패배했다.
